By purchasing a ticket to any Margin event or program, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These Terms govern your participation in our screenings, talks, workshops, clubs, and all other programming hosted at Margin.​

I.ELIGIBILITY

Tickets may be purchased by individuals aged 12 and above unless otherwise stated for specific programs. Each ticket admits one person only. Tickets are non-transferable unless explicitly approved by Margin prior to the event day.

II. EVENT ACCESS

Ticket holders may enter the event space during the registration window stated in the event announcement. Late arrivals may be admitted at Margin’s discretion, but seats are not guaranteed once the program has begun. For seated events, seating is first-come, first-served unless otherwise specified.

III. CODE OF CONDUCT

Margin is a shared space built on warmth, curiosity, and respect. We reserve the right to remove participants who engage in disruptive, harmful, or disrespectful behaviour toward staff, speakers, or other guests. Removal due to misconduct does not qualify for a refund.​

IV. PHOTOGRAPHY & DOCUMENTATION

By attending our events, you grant Margin permission to take photos or videos for internal documentation, reporting, and promotional use. If you prefer not to appear in documentation, please inform our team upon arrival and we will gladly accommodate.

 

V. EVENT CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS BY MARGIN

Margin may adjust event details (including schedule, speakers, or venue layout) when necessary. In the rare case that an event is cancelled by Margin, ticket holders will receive a full refund or may optionally transfer their ticket to a rescheduled date (if available).

VI. CANCELLATION BY PARTICIPANTS

All ticket sales are final. However, we understand that life happens. Our refund policy is as follows:

Refunds

Refunds are not available except under the following special conditions:

• Illness or medical emergency

• Bereavement

• Unexpected relocation

• Other exceptional circumstances reviewed case-by-case

Requests must be emailed to knock@margin-space.com at least 12 hours before the event. Approval is at Margin’s discretion.

Ticket transfers

If you can no longer attend:

• You may transfer your ticket to another person.

• Please notify us via WhatsApp at +62 813 8522 4459 with the new attendee’s name no later than 2 hours before the event.

​

No-shows

No-shows are non-refundable, as your reserved seat affects our attendance limits and preparation.

​

VII. PROGRAM-SPECIFIC POLICIES

Certain workshops, salons, or special screenings may have additional rules (e.g., materials provided, participation format, limited seats). These details will be stated in the event announcement and form part of these Terms.

VIII. SAFETY & LIABILITY

Margin is not responsible for personal items brought into the space. Participants enter and engage in activities at their own risk. Please act with care for yourself and others.

IX. PRIVACY & DATA USE

Any information provided during ticket purchase (name, email, WhatsApp) will be used solely for:

• Event communications

• Operational coordination

• Future updates related to Margin programs (if consented)

We do not sell or share personal data with third parties without permission.
